Rescue groups play a critical part in achieving our lifesaving mission to end the euthanisia of healthy and treatable pets in metro Atlanta. Rescue groups have accounted for an average of 24% of our total outcomes! Your rescue group can be part of this lifesaving mission.

We welcome rescue groups within the state of Georgia and out-of-state. Georgia rescue groups must be licensed by the Georgia Department of Agriculture and must provide a copy of their shelter license and list of agents authorized by your group to rescue. For out-of-state rescue groups, we’ll need a copy of paperwork that your state requires to operate your rescue or shelter.

Becoming a LifeLine rescue partner starts with completing our Rescue Group Application Form. If you have any questions, please reach out to our Rescue Coordinator via email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
