Rescue groups play a critical part in achieving our lifesaving mission to end the euthanisia of healthy and treatable pets in metro Atlanta. Rescue groups have accounted for an average of 24% of our total outcomes! Your rescue group can be part of this lifesaving mission.
We welcome rescue groups within the state of Georgia and out-of-state. Georgia rescue groups must be licensed by the Georgia Department of Agriculture and must provide a copy of their shelter license and list of agents authorized by your group to rescue. For out-of-state rescue groups, we’ll need a copy of paperwork that your state requires to operate your rescue or shelter.
