Countdown to New Fulton Shelter!
HOMES NEEDED BEFORE THE BIG MOVE
The brand new Fulton County Animal Services shelter is preparing to open for intake in December at 1251 Fulton Industrial Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30336! We must find homes for as many of the animals in our care as possible before the move. This includes dogs housed at the current Fulton County shelter on Marietta Blvd. and the LifeLine Midtown overflow adoption center.
To help us close the shelter, check out what’s happening in the coming weeks:
- October 1st to 26th – Half-Off pet adoptions
- October 27th to 29th – Fee-waived weekend
- October 28th – Howloween Celebrations at Fulton County Animal Services
- November 1st to 30th – $25 pet adoptions
- November 24th to 27th – Black Friday Fee-Waived event
- November 29th – Move begins!
- November 30th – Last day LifeLine Midtown is open
- December 2nd – Grand Opening Celebration

There are so many opportunities to make a difference in the lives of our city’s animals. We will need all of the help we can get to clear our Fulton County shelter and set ourselves up for success as we start the next chapter in our new building.
