LifeLine strives to keep pets with the people who love them. Whether your dog has behavior issues or your cat has special medical needs, we’ll provide pet resources and assistance to help keep your human-animal family together. 

With many families facing hardships, some find it challenging to care for their pets. The LifeLine Community Support team helps residents of Fulton county keep their pets. This effort includes lost pet assistance, behavior training resources, low-cost medical care, pet supplies, temporary pet housing and more.

Veterinary Care
  • Affordable Vet Care

    The LifeLine Community Animal Center clinic offers full-service, affordable veterinary care, including vaccines, dental care, surgery and more.

  • Low-Cost Spay & Neuter Services

    The LifeLine Spay & Neuter Clinic provides low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter surgeries and has performed over 150,000 procedures.

  • SPOT Society

    SPOT (Stopping Pet Overpopulation Together) Society funds and provides low- to no-cost spay/neuters for pets of financially disadvantaged residents of the metro Atlanta area

  • Wellpet Humane

    WellPet Humane is a full-service veterinary clinic in Doraville, Georgia providing compassionate care, focusing on wellness and treating a wide range of medical issues common to dogs and cats.

  • Pets for Life

    LifeLine's Pets for Life program provides free spay/neuter services, pet supplies and pet food to Fulton County residents living in specific zip codes.

  • Community Veterinary Care

    Community Veterinary Care is a local non-profit Christian veterinary mission that helps those who cannot help their sick or injured pets due to financial hardship.

  • The Pet Fund

    The Pet Fund provides non-basic, non-urgent pet care funding, such as for cancer treatment, heart disease, chronic conditions, endocrine diseases, eye diseases, etc.

  • PALS Atlanta

    It is the mission of Pets Are Loving Support, Inc. (PALS) is to provide ongoing care and support to the pets of Atlanta-area persons living with disabilities due to HIV/AIDS and terminal illnesses, and the elderly.

  • Pet Buddies

    Pet Buddies is an outreach organization that provides spay and neuter sponsorship, temporary pet food and supplies to struggling pet owners, seniors, disabled, veterans, medically fragile and the homeless.

  • Care Credit

    Care Credit is a credit card for medical and veterinary care that charges no interest on purchases over $200 if the total amount is paid by the end of the promotional period.

Training Resources

Whether you have adopted a new pet or need help with your current pet, we can provide you with pet resources and solutions for your pet’s behavior. Many pet behavior challenges can be managed and corrected through training. These resources can help you to improve your pet’s behavior.

    Paws Between Homes provides temporary foster homes, supplies, and veterinary care to the pets of people who are being evicted or otherwise losing their housing. They serve low-income households in metro Atlanta.

    My Pit Bull is Family is a 501c-3 nonprofit organization with a mission to end housing and insurance discrimination. They have the largest database of rental properties that welcome ALL pet breeds.

Military Assistance

    Dogs on Deployment connects those in active duty, reservists, National Guard, veterans and first-responders with volunteers who will care for their pets while they have service commitments.

  • PetsForPatriots.com

    Pets for Patriots, a LifeLine partner, offers free memberships to U.S. veterans and provides members who adopt from LifeLine with a $150 pet gift card, discounts on vet care and pet supplies, as well as post-adoption follow up calls. LifeLine offers members free adoptions on eligible pets.
